Welcome to Year 3!

During your time with us, in Year 3, we hope that you will have lots of fun while you learn. We will read some amazing stories which help us to improve our writing and if you have a passion for music, you will have the exciting opportunity to learn to play the ukulele and develop your musical skills! We go swimming every Thursday for the first two terms. We go on some brilliant trips –whether that is going back in time to the Stone Age or taking in the sights and sounds of Glendale Children's Day where we learn all about the Northumbrian countryside. We also have the opportunity to take part in lots of sports events throughout the year; whether it’s cross country running, handball or dodgeball, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. In our science lessons we do lots of interesting experiments which we hope you will love. Year 3 really is an exciting place to be!
