Rationale

At Southridge First School we encourage all children and staff to be proud to make a positive impact. This philosophy will thread through the decisions we make, as leaders, teachers and children. It will inform all aspects of life at Southridge, including investment, curriculum planning, enrichment opportunities and behaviour expectations.

We develop awareness and understanding of the impact we can have on ourselves, our school, our environment and the world through connecting with our school ambassadors. Our ambassadors help us understand the wider world and represent areas such as creativity, community and environment. Underpinning all that we do are our Core Values of respect, responsibility, kindness, friendship and honesty. By employing these values and considering our choices, we can all be proud to make a positive impact.
